For over three decades Bob Orsillo has worked to become a master artist. Considered to be one of the most important “multiple media” artists alive today, his work is as diverse as the materials he uses. Since 1969 he has had over five hundred exhibits world wide, in venues as diverse as the Museum of Fine Arts in the United States to back alleys in Venezuela to the Poly tech in the old Soviet Union. He has received many national and international awards for his paintings, photography and sculptors. Bob Orsillo’s art is and has been part of Corporate and private collations since 1969. Orsillo’s work appears on book and magazine covers, record and CD covers, and in films and television. To date his has created conceptual art and illustrations for three major motion pictures. Bob has degree in Art and Electrical Engineering.

Between the years 1970 and 1982 Bob painted under the names William Burkard and M. Frost. The paintings all in oil created under the name Frost held a strong social and political view. The paintings created under the name Burkard were all private commissions in thick knife oil and acrylic of a apocalyptic theme. During this same time Orsillo worked as a fine art and commercial fashion photographer in Boston and New York. The use of different pen names gave him the creative freedom to work and experiment in many directions at once. Since 1982 all his work is created under his given name. Bob Orsillo American Artist |
